when i went to work last night, so was all the common carriers at the loading docks, along with the usual o/o's that have contracts TO HONOR or lose the contract/job.......

so someone else tell me, what does that mean...?? o/o's may be in dire need of lower fuel prices, but if those guys didn't show up, they'd be looking for contracts someplace else...and the vice president of the company (my customer) told me that if anyone violated the contract, he would be sure to let it be known to any other place the o/o goes to for work, that the o/o violates contracts..........new customers want "references" for o/o's just like anyone would want from a potential employee..........

in this mornings news, (radio as i was driving home), only news about house fires, police incidents, and the presidential primary....on the tv while having my breakfast, 5 seconds about the "strike", then that big crash in Canada(?) where a big rig drove 20 miles(?) the wrong way and crashed and burned.....

what trucking story would you think the public will remember most...

the "strike" for all of 5 seconds, or the "wrong way for 20 miles, crash and burn BIG RIG accident"....???

i just did some "googling" regarding major truck crashes. there was another major truck crash in california on highway 118..........this is NOT the accident i was referring to. the accident i saw on the Today Show, was daylight, and someone perhaps a phone camera(?) had the video...........i think they did say Canada...

but again i ask, what does the public remember, major truck wrecks tying up traffic, or a truckers 'strike"....???
