I couldn't help but looking at the Conway Freight forum and seeing all the whining going on about the terminal closings, the stock price going down, the loss of vacation and other wages, etc....etc...! Maybe it's not too late for the Conway Freight drivers to wake up and SMELL THE COFFEE! You guys are O.K., but you're all "AT WILL EMPLOYEES"! Conway Freight can jack you around all they want to and there's not a darn thing you can do about it without a union contract! I knew the day would come when freight got real slow, and the economy would come to a screeching halt and you guys would be whining....big time! Now it's here, and sure enough the whining is everywhere! But remember you guys can still get your stuff together and approach the Teamsters Union to join like the guys at UPS Freight (Overnite) did! Our freight contract might not be the best we ever had, but it sure beats working at the mercy of a corporation the likes of CNW! Remember that your top bosses Mr. S, and Mr. L, have THEIR contracts/perks/pension/stock options, etc in place! Why not get your wages, benefits, and working conditions in writing like we have in the unionized carriers! STOP WHINING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! We would love to have you guys become members! REMEMBER, A HARM TO ONE IS A HARM TO ALL! You guys too could be PROUD TO BE UNION!
