I've always wanted to be an OTR driver since I was a teenager but boy meats girl, they fall in love, have kids and get married,
so on and so forth. Had a few real good jobs including the last one(22.00/hr. plus all the perks).
A few years ago decided I needed a change(for various reasons) and got my AZ license and found a driving job. It's not the highways I was really looking for but since I didn't have any school or expierience I took it.Was actually looking for somthing like Ont. to Alberta.
My boss and his wife are really good to work for, they even gave me a raise a couple of months ago and I didn't even ask for it. I run flat bed in a near new Pete but mostly Ont. to the NE US(N.Y. P.A. Mass. VA. ect.) Can't run western Canada because all we have is 10-1 spreads.
I guess My 1st question is Why do I feel guilty about not looking for what I'm looking for( Don't get me wrong, I like the highways a lot better in the US than in Canada,they are far more superior than up here from what I've seen) . I just seem that I owe them since they gave me a chance a year and a half ago.
Secondly, Lately I feel guilty about not being home during the week. My wife (a great and Beautifull woman)says it's o.k. cause she works mostly straight afternoons and we did'nt see much of each other anyways.
I guess I'm just wondering if these fealings are normal and will go away or are they always going to pop up every once in a while.
