The Anonymous cliques in their precepts and related writings state "helping people to remove their character defects" and in doing so to help these people become accepted in (some weird) society.

I say that ones character defects are what makes one what one is and to remove or alter these characteristics is in effect to destroy the individual.

Unless one is a murderer or rapist or pedophile, ones character defects are ones own and no one has any business trying to change them except the one in charge of the Body.
