Some govt is needed, however, this bloated inefficient mess that we have now, is not working and is not what the framers intended.
I want to make my own decision for me and my family (I believe most people do) I don't want to have to check with a govt official to see if it is ok.
I want the right to succeed or fail, and if I do succeed, I want to reep the rewards for my success and not have to give it away because some govt official deems I have too much. |
Bubba I will add to this and get to what the Lib's will say next... What happens if you fail and need assistance.....
I say this If I fail then I am held Accountable for the actions that I decided to take, then at that point it is up to ME AND ONLY ME to pull up the bootstraps and right the wrongs I imposed, have I been in that position before heck yes most have , did I get assistance NOPE I worked my way out of it I sacrificed personal wants to achieve personal gains sometimes you need to take action for ones self......
Next part of it what about all those held down -------- Bunch of B.S if you are able bodied and minded you can provide for yourself you might not have all you want but you would be able to feed yourself and provide the basics , as for those who cannot due to illness, injury , or any other form of disability than you would still be covered as always.
It is not about taking away such it is about weeding out the waste and abuse in the system. Bigger Government , bigger bureaucracy , and more dependency on such is the wrong formula it does not promote Independence if stifles it and allows for more control over all your personal freedoms and incentives to advance ones self.
The Repubs made this mistake as have the Dem's and many have chosen dependency over Independence in this country as a result , as with the vast majority of Gov programs waste and corruption , inefficient execution , and cost over runs has become the norm .
This is just but one of the reasons we have a deficit not because of revenues but because of over spending and those who would rather grow the government in the hope that it will change these problems are sorely mistaken.
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
