That's for sure. Although beer is something that does not need to be socialized, Republican Governor Matt Blunt of Missouri thought he needed to step in and try to stop that Belgian company from taking over Anheuser-Busch.

Since most people who vote Republican are rednecks, and that's what they drink, he had to use his taxpayer-funded job to defend it. If it had been a Missouri company that makes wine or some other "fancy-pants" (as rednecks would put it), he wouldn't have done anything.

BTW--I like beer, too.
