Buy one with an 18" shaft. Then it's too high to notice it. Plus your receive will be better. But Plum's right, if you change out your shaft, you'll have to change out your whip.
I personally run a 6' Wilson Silverload centered behind the cab with the 18' mini8 to a Texastar 350HDV to a Galaxy 33 turned up to 50w with a 2w deadkey. Blue lights and a variable talkback, talking through an Astatic 636L. I don't know why I threw that in there. Oh well... |
