If you look back at speech's and interviews Nancy has gave she clearly has stated she had no intention to have a Comprehensive Energy legislation up for vote , she rallied against any program including off shore drilling , did not included any Nuke plants and this bill reflects that attitude. In a interview with Larry King earlier this year she was so far out of touch she miss quoted prices at the pumps and had to be corrected by Larry.

You see when you are one of the Richest persons in congress Energy costs are chump change and does not really effect if you will pay for groceries or pay at the pump to make it to work for another week , this from the party that is supposed to be for the little guy , the working class , no this is just more pandering so they can say hey look everyone we tried but it did not get passed , but look deeper into it and you can see it is more favored to environmentalist lobbyists and less for what the working public has been demanding.

Solution would be to utilize all means to bridge the gap until new sources for energy comes VIABLY on line , while reducing the dependency on foreign sources. NO its just plain election year Pandering!!
