Nobody shoves a union down anyone's throat sir. Please refrain from ignorance. If Obama is elected he vows to support the Employee Free Choice Act. This act of legislation helps employees seek union representation by simply getting the majority of people to sign union cards. No fear of retaliation from your company. This is hardly an example of shoving anything anywhere. If it is the will of the workforce to join together and form a union, then so be it. No more anti union BS from management. No more leaders of a union movement mysteriously terminated under false pretences. I'll tell you what congress did do though. They shoved this bail out down our throats. Way to go Bush administration. And you will have a choice if Obama becomes president and congress passes the EFCA. You can choose another non union company to work for. But don't get too comfortable, because it won't stay (non) very long. Teamster Elvis out.....
