No one wants to "punish", we just want everyone to pay their fair share to support our country. The GAO reported that 2/3s of US companies paid no federal taxes from 1998-2005. That's not ok with me...Here's an article from the Washington Post: Many Firms Didn't Pay Taxes - washingtonpost.com

See the above Washington Post article... Even more foreign companies than US companies paid no tax on their US operations - sounds like a heck of deal to me. It's about fairness.
