i have a virage cb radio, with am, fm abc channels upper and lowers that i got off of a distressed trucker. this radio talks big, and is nice and clear. it gets out far without a linear.

my question is the fm channels and the a.b.c upper and lowers. whenever i switch to the fm band i never pick up anything there. are those ham stations? and why wont it pick up.? i kind of guess that if another radio pulled up with the fm band i could maybe talk to him. but is this extra stuff just useless on a cb
