you can change the coax but you have to run it through the door windows you cant run it like the factory wireing and they will let you get your swr checked as long as you don't let the cb shop try to ad a ground wire the shop usually wants to do that for you there picky about where it goes also what year and style of truck are you running i may have some suggestions for a ground if you slip seat but it don't work on the cascadia
