People can still hear you, it will just be a bit garbled. These are export radios that are marketed as ham radios for the 10 meter band. Its mostly a sham and technically illegal to use it on CB. The FCC seems to have washed their hands of this for the most part. You should consider getting your ham license and use it in the 10 meter band..
