Double Your Pay
Anyone seen this ?
Looking to make good money? Think about driving a truck. J.B. Hunt CEO Kirk Thompson says that due to a growing driver shortage, he thinks truck driver pay will need to double to attract more workers to the field. The current average salary for a beginning truck driver is $40,000 a year. Thompson also contradicted several analysts who contend that the U.S. economy is cooling off. He says that J.B. Hunt is being asked by customers to prepare for a brisk peak season and he anticipates spot shortages of intermodal and truck capacity for the balance of 2006.
