We all can be hopeful that things will turn around but as of right now everybody is hurting in the trucking business.
My grandfather ran a bread route back in the depression and worked long and hard for little money but his family was taken care of and that is what its all about. Everybody knows Central is a nasty place with junk equipment in all departments....I prefer to eat and live in my home than to not work somewhere or be back on unemployment from my "good job" that folded without the proper WARN notice and left us all(1200 employees and 10 terminals) hangin...we all have to take care of our family no matter what the sacrifices are...So I guess a fair wage may be a bit overstated....lets just say....a living wage.

That is a good point.....I wish jobs were plentiful. I am considering CT. I am familiar with junk equipment, as I worked for mail contractors. Many have garbage for equipment.

I can put up with BS in any job, I just want to work. I am sick of sitting. Sick of waiting. I hauled mail and id well. Well, until I got laid off.
