Default Problems that come with slow freight

This is probably the worse slow down I've seen in the past 4 or 5 years.Over hiring hasn't helped either.Hours are cut and shifts are manipulated to reduce cost and increase efficiency.Parts and supplies are strung out to last the month.Nothing extra on inventory.Punch in,punch out times are watched closely.Seems like it's this way about every where.I'm just hoping for a mild winter so people can get to work and be productive,so our trucks can get in and pick their product up and deliver it.Then we'll have work.
