Hey guys. I'm currently enrolled in Truck Driving school in NePA and will graduate early next month. I'm making a career change to trucking and was wondering what I should know, look out for, etc. I'll be looking to stay local, having just gotten married and bought a house, OTR would kill me. From what I gather, regional means home on weekends. I'm finding very few companies that hire cdl grads. I have a lead with a food delivery company that does hire cdl grads (Northstar), but was wondering what else I should be looking for. Any thoughts / advice would be appreciated.
