My son is an OTR truck driver who is going for an interview with a different company. He has recently been diagnosed bipolar and is on medications: Depakote and Risperdal. He is doing really well and his doctor says many truck drivers take these meds and they are approved drugs. My concerns are (1) will he pass a drug test for this new position, and (2) Should he disclose this diagnosis and these meds to his new employer prior to taking drug test?
