Default Still the best place to work

ABF Freight System, Inc.®, is often cited as best in class not only in service to customers but also in support of its employees.

I just want to second that! ABF has to be one of the best trucking company's to work for union or non-union. I have always been treated fairly there. The only ones that don't get treated fairly are probably the ones that don't deserve a job at ABF. We have some laid off people that deserve their jobs back. We also have a few laid off that come in when they are called in and do next to nothing. I hope those guys never get a chance to work full-time again. You reap what you sow. If you don't like this comment then you are probably one of the people trying to ruin it for the rest of us. Just take your ungrateful *** to Wal-Mart.

Many of my friends that worked at Churchill Truck Lines with me, came over to ABF after Churchill closed during the freight strike in '94.I've always been told that ABF is a class operation. I'm hoping to find out for myself as I've put my application in.

I'm always puzzled by a fellow teamster sitting in judgement over who deserves to work & who isn't good enough. Who are you to judge that they do next to nothing? what if someone thought that of you? i know it could never happen because you work harder & care more than anyone.
the guys i see who complain the most about other guys not doing their jobs & who claim to care more than the guy next is usually just kidding themselves. do me a favor take your ungrateful self to walmart
