Now that we are all here, complaining, praising, shootin the bull....... Take a look at where we are at. I have been at AE for 2 months now, to me, its a good job, I deliver my freight, go home, average some good hours, ride in the AC all day and slam the door on friday. I see all my old friends at Fedex, Saia, Central, and they are all complaining, 30 hrs a week, no AC, no miles, Ive heard it all........ lets face it, its a hard economy right now, but the thing to remember is...we have a job with a company that is not the best, but its not the worst. If youve been in freight for any time, you have to acknowledge that it is a competitive industry. If you dont like it...go somewhere else. Youll be complaining in a year about how they treat you, at least we are not like Jevic, those guys will tell you that they would trade with you in a minute, you never know, it could happen to us tommorrow...... Im glad to have a job that agrees with me, and yea, its not heaven on earth but what is,......just do what makes you happy, if its a fifty hour week city job, cool, if its having an AC tractor with good miles, great, if its whatever you like, then just do it....
