pancho300 has gone into another thread and criticized the fact that we changed subjects. Imagine us doing that. Imagine a thread being started with one subject and in 3-4 pages being totally off of the subject. How dare we?

So, I thought on the behalf of pancho300, I would start a thread called let's change the subject.

So everytime you reply to this thread, PLEASE change the subject and we shall see where it goes since according to pancho300, we are not allowed to do that.

Heard on the news that our troops on the battlefield in Iraq are going to each be allowed two 12 ounce cans of beer on Super Bowl Sunday. How generous.

I'm a teetotaler now, but when I drank, I would have been highly insulted at that offer. What is going on nowadays? It's the wussification of America that started with bicycle helmets.

When I was a soldier they issued us cigarettes in our field rations. They weren't making anybody smoke. If you didn't want them, pass em on to your buddy. And when we had the opportunity to kick back a few, no problem. Some kind hearted sergeant would dispatch a jeep on a "secret mission" which would involve sneaking into the nearest town or village and loading up on booze.

I feel for these men and women now out there laying their life on the line and getting treated like children.
