So what, don't take it out on the rest of us that can walk and chew gum at the same time.

we team runners cannot use qualcomm either, now that is "red thinkin" I ask my frontline leader if we were going to be compesated for the extra 1/2 hour it takes to enter our bills(we average 140 lines), u got it, but if we were in an office and ask to work an extra 1/2 hour on our shift, u can bet we would get paid for it, and ot pay most likely. just my little rant

This is how I see it.The Future is Teams(WHY?)(1) Because you can sell a team better that a single driver so much more you can do with Teams.Lots of Flexibility.
(2)The Company can be more Profitable with Teams that a single Driver.We need to make changes for our survival.When our Sales Reps go out to get new Business it gives them a greater chance to get new freight.I'm not saying that TL Teams want Haul LTL freight.I think that the main roll for TL Teams is to haul TL freight.I'll end with this.I'm a Team Driver myself and the Greatest Thing that has happen to me while working for Averitt is to be part of LTL Team Shuttle.I can also say that I also was a Team Driver in TL running to California(LA) and running Team is the only way to Haul Freight.If you are thinking of running team you can't go wrong.(Mercy)

You think team is sweet, give a look at Shuttle. Leave my house at 10:15pm and walk back in the door at 8-8:15am. My bed, my shower, my family home time. But I understand we all can't be Shuttle drivers. Teams, Combo's, Truckload, Dedicated and the several other divisions are what make this companmy the awesome place it is today. Some guys don't like being home, some do, we are all important to the success of Averitt.

I think we all like being at home, but for some it is less of a priority than it is for others.
I could never adjust my circadian rhythm to do what you do and not feel miserable all the time.
I would rather have a good nights sleep in the truck over tossing and turning in my bed at home during the day.
But as you said, it takes all of us to get the job done.

I agree I could never get use to working nights only or a dedicated TL route I would hate to run the same route every day it would get boring...
