| Today was fantastic. I was able to set aside all of lifes stresses and just enjoy a wonderful, sunny late summer day. I forgot about work and all the uncertainty that surrounds it and watched football. That's right, football. My kids were playing and I got to revel in the joy of being a parent. It brought it all into perspective. All the crappy days and long nights, the struggle to provide and and be involved. Today it all came together and I was lucky enough to recognize it in the present not belatedly.... |
