Actually I learned an easy way to filet them fish and can filet one and skin it in about 30 seconds or so

Jeff That looks like a great day on the water , I bet you use the same technique that I do when filleting pan fish , do you start by the gill go forward a bit then go along the back , flip it and come back for the meat and end up with a taste morsel. or do you a different way I know everyone has their own ways and what is your favorite way to cook em?

This is how I do it but I don't wast as much meat

yep I do it the same way like you said I try not to waste the meat either . I go after the Bluegills more when I pan fish they can get big were I am at and and I mean big you don't usually associate that with bluegills but they can actually get rather large and the kids love em. What other fishing do you do?

Bluegills are good eating but its hard to find the big ones anymore
