SKS/AK47 prices

I just sold a very good SKS for 200 bucks and kinda felt bad about getting so much for it.I went by the local gunstore and saw they were now 250 with AK47's going for 350.I traded a AK47 pistol the other month for a 870 and another SKS.The 870 has been modified and holds 10 plus 1 now.It has a short barrel with a full choke but I have shot clay targets out to 50 yards with it.Buddy of mine picked up a S&W 29-2 the other day for 300.....he said it wasn't hot but for that price something is wrong somewhere.
