I remember when Georgia Highway Express became Transus. Averitt Express and Estes have used that same terminal over the years.

Brown Transport had a big yard in Augusta but I never worked for them.

The Brown Headquarters Terminal was the same facility as the Ryder Technical Institute.

Went through Ryder 1974-1975.

From the thread, I see there are a few here that are familiar with Brown, they were the last truck line to run the old GMC Crackerboxes, as their Fleet Vehicle.

Thanks guys, saw the thread and noticed no one had made a post to it, so I did, although I only worked there a couple of months because I had gone to school at the site.

Very familiar with Dugan, the old "Campbell's 66 Express". Thanks for the Post. However, I don't know what happened after Ryder spun them off, as well as the others.

Geez I hate old age...

A new body with a fresh start and my same mind..,.

No 'Peter'built jokes please, and really do appreciate the personal attentions Smokestack.

You got Double H, the old 'Highway Hog' on the side. We're readin' the (e)mail.
