any mixer drivers tell me

what kind of swr's they are seeing in their trucks,mine are high,I think it might have something to do with the barrel??

Check your SWR on channel 1, then channel 40 ( if it's a 40 channel radio ) . Let us know what it's showing & then we might be able to see what's going on with it. As far as the barrel... how far from the antenna is it ? Most mixers are far enough away that it doesn't affect SWR too bad once you get your antenna set initially.
