Black chrome Cobra

Has anyone purchased one of these radios? And curious on how they sound after being peaked and tuned? The radio looks good and the blue lights match up well with the black and chrome.

I have one that I purchased from Sparky's CB Shack. It deadkeys at 2.5 watts and swings to 30 or so watts. My only complaint about the radio is that the meter and channel lighting is way to bright at night. It's rather blinding. I've applied some cling-on window tinting to help a bit.

Is that with just a peak and tune, or is that a super peak and tune. Or some super mods? Sounds like it can talk when worked on!

It's the Cobra 29-LTD High Powered Edition. It's a bit more than a standard peak and tune.

The Cobra stock final is replaced eith a MOSFET final. The result is higher output both in average watts and peak watts.
