i have a 3300 hp well pleased with it not sure on power but i talk when ever i want to.. also had a connex 3300 not the hp bought it used ran it for about 12 years never had a problem. a friend of mine has it now still going strong

Are You a TT Driver?

If so... What do you use for an antenna?

What do You think You are getting for distance with that 3300HP?

I own a galaxy. run with guys that own the 4300 & the magnum s-6's, both are similiar in power when talking to me, the guys with magnums have had to put theirs in the shop & the connex guys haven't.

How do You fare - up against these radio's with Your Galaxy?

I use to run with a guy that had the Connex 3300 - his radio kicked azz!

I currently run a Cobra 148 with a 250 watt kicker (purchased radio back in 1986 and the kicker 1990) - his 3300 talks over My current system...

Thats why I was considering the 4300 - figured the extra 40 watts would really kick some...

too many people I know that have magnums have had problems with them

I know 3 Drivers that have Magnums 1 is a s-3 another a s-6 and the other is a s6-80 and all sound great and all have been tuned by somebody that KNOWS magnums and they have had no problems! Therein lies the problem Most of your "Golden Screwdrivers" behind the truckstops in relocatable trailers don't have a clue how to work on a radio unless it is a Cobra or any of the lines that have connex boards in them! Take it to a reputable brick and mortar shop that has been around longer than 5 years and you'll probably find someone that can properly work on the Magnums!
I have a General Lee that does between 50-60 watts anybody that says they will do 70 is full of it and you should run the other direction without question! It is a great no frills basic powerhouse!

Their radios sound similiar to mine (when someone is close) until I key up at the same time as them, then you can tell mine has more power. from a distance the difference is very noticeable. I run a 93t.
