The "Magic" in any radio is who was "Inside" it.......Find a dealer you can trust ,then ask questions on what he sells and what he does to them.....

If they sell Connex,they must have a good rep with both customers and the factory.same with galaxy or Magnum.....

You can find everything on the "NET" BUT getting it tuned and serviced are a different story,........good luck with your decision.......

p.s. I currently run a Magnum S-3 in the "Mack Office" ( gets cleaned and bench checked once a year BUT that is all since purchased 3 years ago)..and it replaced a Superstar 3900 GHP ( still have.....cheap price but what an animal for rx/tx)...

I might have to do some more research but I think Ranger/RCI make the boards for all the above mentioned except Magnums.

Did you not notice;;;; I'm one state to your NORTH.....The "tech" I had work on my stuff is retired BUT "Berubes" in Bow,NH now does all of my work....Google their site, you might find some good reading....and if you want to go with the NET try a PM here.I'll give you 3 shops that the "Fleet" I drive for uses also....both with new purchase and repair work...
