i thought if you were running say a texas star 350 and a galaxy 33
you would turn down the power of the amp and turn up the power of the radio and let the radio drive the amp instead of the amp trying to drive the radio.

It doesnt quite work that way. The amp only requires a certain amount of carrier power to excite it. You have to know what it requires.

Will the Super Wack Pack mod work with the "super-swing" peak and tune mod? Lets see, I bypass all the voltage regulators and apply 12 volts right to the finals, then turn down the carrier power to one watt, then clip the modulation limiter and add whatever secret parts are supposedly needed to get this "super-swing" bs working, then tune to the max of the finals on modulation. Gee! It will be loud as hell in the parking lot until they burn it up in a few weeks. Two miles down the road, they wont have any signal strength...
(Dont forget to tilt your cb antennas forward so you look like a moron going down the road...)
