I think for a good easy to use antenna they are hard to beat.
I know a lot of slip seat drivers that use them and have had great luck with them. Are they the best antenna out there no way, but for the guy who is not wanting to talk around the world then they might be a good choice.
Personally I like metal antennas better than fiberglass and the Hustler SCB is a very good antenna. Also if you have a problem with trees and such then the HQ27 is a great antenna.

if you had an option to on which mirror to use for the antenna, which would be the best option, the passenger mirror or the driver mirror? I have heard that the signal pattern is better if you have the antenna mounted on the passenger side bc it radiates across the truck getting you into traffic...is that correct?
