Antenna Quick Disconnect and SWR's

If I add a 3 inch quick disconnect to my Wilson 2000 trucker that meters at 1.1, can I expect to have to cut 3 inches off my stinger to get the SWR back to 1.1.

Not suppose to, the length of the antenna and the coil inside of it determine the SWR not what is connected to it.

Thanks, I was ready to do some cutting, but after reading you're reply,I hooked up my meter, after putting on the quick disconnect and the swr was at 1.2. Like the old saying goes " If it don't stink, don't stir it"
