1st time buyer? You may quickly learn that CB's aren't what you'd thought.
Cobra 29 is a solid, quality radio.
It should last a decade or three and if you ever want to spend the big buck$, it can go in your car or on the garage shelf as a backup for when that big fancy export radio breaks...which it will.
Tips;
Wait for a sale on noise canceling mics (not amplified) and get one.
Only run 1 antennea (not two/dipole).
Buy a cheap Francis antenea and tune it.
Buy a SWR meter and a quality jumper coax.
Don't tilt your antennea forward to go faster.
Be curteous.
Have fun
