Default Question for you from newbie.

I'am currently running a Cobra29 barefoot in my big truck at work and am thinking about upgrading my radio.I'am using the 12v power points in the roof how many watts can I pull from 12v?

Default a quick way to figure this...

is to use ohms law if you have 12 volts running through a .8 ohm wire with a 15 amp fuse that would be a 180 watts
heres the the link for the ohms law calculator.Ohms Law Calculator

Default hers the formula in writing

Voltage (E) = Current (I) * Resistance (R)
Power (watts) = Current Squared (I^2) * Resistance (R)
Power = I*E = E^2 / R if you know two of the factors such as the volts and amps you can figure out the watts
