Default RFX-75 in a Cobra 29

They will work on just about any radio.
I am putting one in a AR3500 right now.
Also if you would like to see a new video of one installed in a Cobra 29 it is now up.
I got over 135 watts from this radio with nothing done but the install. After I did some tuning I have gotten 145. PEP
I would say talking wattage is around 110-125 not too bad for a Cobra 29.
Here is the Video

If I might ask there CBR, What deadkey settings did you achieve the 110-125 peak output. Also have you found any radio that the power supply will not hold the draw ?

I have it at about 9 watts of dead key and I did not put in a swing kit. I am not having any trouble with voltage drop to the unit or radio. The unit will run in the figures stated fairly easy.
Now I did not hold down the dead key solid for 10 min. to see what would happen but the duty cycle for most people is about 15% I would say.

I was gonna send in my Connex 3300 to have it upgraded with the EKL RFX 75 and get my echo board fixed, but I can't drive without a radio, so I called Mr. CB Repairman and ordered a Cobra 29 Black Chrome with the EKL RFX 75. I'll take care of the Connex after I get the Cobra.

Maybe he'll do a vidio of the upgrade on my Connex and I'll have a famous radio

Now i'm wondering if I put on 2 antenna's could I run 2 radio's at the same time?
