Connex 4600 is not enough to run the battery down or the alternator of course, you're looking at only 2x2290 Toshiba Pills go directly to the battery on that note and make sure you have a good ground stay away from dual antennas they are usless unless you're running a box if you know what I mean. wilson, or Predator are the best and make sure you cut the whip when you're checking the SWR (Standing Wave Radio) 1.5 or below is the best and be sure your RF gain is all the way down, all the windows and doors are closed when you check for SWR power.....
