make sure your antannae and coax are ok low swr low watts in youll be o. k. also you can go with acobra 29 can get them all day long for 50.00 used in ms.

RF interference can wreak havoc on modern auto electronics. Keep your antenna as far from your engine computer(usually behind glove box but not always) as possible. I ran my coax under the dash to my front right fender mount on my last pickup, and ended up buying a new black box for it, $400. That was with 500w.

i run a stock radio and don't worry about anything.

besides that. who are you gonna talk to. if you want to really get out just get more minutes on your cell phone.
