What's the deal with equipment,i started in seattle alittle over a month ago and every piece of equipment or trailer that is or come's thru my terminal is crap.I have never worked for a company with such crappy equipment and to top it off the atitude about how freight is loaded,handled and delivered is sub-par.This company could be something great with the right atitude and wanting to achieve a goal.Management is all but gone with only a dispatcher that spend's more time on the internet looking at video's than doing his job or running out of the building to tend to his wife's need's and never telling anyone where he's going has got to stop.I sure hope upper management read's these and find's new people with the right mindset to run this terminal or i do believe they will not be around much longer.

start with your owner and second your CEO.get rid of those two people and your company will be better off.based upon all the things i have read about those two people and the money they have wasted central could have all brand new equipment and a nice market share,but what i read is hearsay ,so judge for yourself.

centrals owner Jerry M and the company CEO Bob F.by the way Jerry owns Swift Transportation and the NHL team Phoenix Coyotes.so it would be my guess Central is a tax write off for the rest of his empire.if anyone disagrees with this chime in.

i would pick another carrier in the area.SAIA ,YELLOW ,Roadway,Oak Harbour ,Peninsula ,OD ,R&L ,Estes.there are plenty of carriers to chose from that clearly have better standards and equipment and will be in business a lot longer.i read in another thread the central just closed some terminals so the company is shrinking not growing,not a good sign.

sorry it was right in front of me and im asking you what two people.lol...........i dont know much about either of them but as far as continuing to work there it's a slim chance......i like to work in a clean to semi clean enviroment and what i have experienced is something along the line's of a trash bin.Nobody seem's to care,the otherday i came into work and heard one of the office girl's saying we were about to get our power shut off because the company had not paid it's bill.I asked is my check going to bounce and they just laughed and said no this happen's all the time,umm what?this company cant even pay it's electric bill on time.
