Please central employees run why you can. The economy is playing into jerry's hands. He will dry and suck everything out of central he can. I know there are a lot of good and loyal employees there. Other carriers will put you on.

central freight....may have been a great company at one time........But by the time I had started working there....it had been reduced to a company that nobody wanted to deal with......sub-standard equipment....freight that had been loaded by a 3yr. old and damaged freight was the norm.....How can one be proud of a company to work for when then dont take care of the customers product we are delivering.I was laid off last august and it was the best thing to happen.I could finally again sleep well knowing I was not hauling damaged freight caused by people of central who did not have the customer's best interest in mind.If ever a company should have gone under long ago....central is the perfect example of this.

I drove by the central freight terminal in Jackson MS the other day and it was empty. Oh I guess it wasn't totally empty there was one dolly on the yard.

what other carriers will put you on now ? i do not think too many compaines are hiring now.you may be stuck where you are now for the time being.

what a shame, i worked for central back in the late 90. at that time it was the best place i have ever worked. i talked to a friend of mine at about 9 am this morning and he told me he ran over the weekend and that he was in dallas waiting for a load out. he said he had been in dallas for over 48 hrs. what a shame for this to happen to such a great company. jerry moyers you should be ashamed of youself!!!!
