Thumbs down Health Insurance Changes among other things

First a pay cut then cancel my health insurance and replace it with crap (pardon me) that is practically worthless at a much higher cost. Anybody out there have a freaking clue how the "HSA" plan works? From what I have been told from HR the $140 bi-weekly payroll deduction covers only the premium and any money you wish to add or deposit to your HSA is above and beyond that. I happen to work at a terminal that did not have a rep visit to explain anything along with a TM who cares less. Thinking of looking for another job just for better benefits - anybody else in the same boat? (sinking boat?) OFD

you can buy your own health insurance fairly reasonably. I don't know if you have preexisting conditions though. There is this thing called MIB. You might want to check that before you apply.

$666 is a bit pricey. Health Insurance - Affordable Health Insurance Quotes, Individual Health Insurance is a good place to look. Maybe there is an HMO that is more reasonable where you live too? I hate HMO's but you do what you gotta do.
