Wow DOT and JoeV - Sounds like both of you need to begin a start up and run a trucking company exactly how you would run that company. Call it Perfection Carriers! Let me know how it works out for you after the first year. I'm sure that your employees will say nothing but good things about it.
Now being serious, some of your statements may be true but many of them are very inflated and really an outright lie from my experience at least. Not sure what terminal you're located at but ours have hr hotline numbers posted to call if your manager is not taking care of things like a payroll error.
Joe, we get paid for breakdown and if you're on a relay and are delayed by your meet driver you get paid for that delay. We also get the 15 minute dock pay when we hit an AC to help for fuel time and safety lanes. 15 minutes is not a lot but it's something. I'll give you the time on the cell phone can become excessive. Good Luck man!
