Default Your choice...Drive all nite//drive&work the Dock....

1-Automotive is mainly drop&hook, depening on the run you could run up 400 miles a nite.
2-LTL Frt is you loading your trailer or trailer's,then drive 2-4 hrs one way, then you will unload those trailer or trailer's and reload them for the ride back home 2-4 hrs. Hope this help's
I knew a guy from your place(CB Handle is Rabbit) he ran from Romulus down to Kentucky,he was doin automotive he liked it.

Hello, I'm a laidoff roadway/yrc team driver and I would like to know if there is direct deposit for linehaul drivers in chicagoland terminals? I also would like to know if they train you to load and unload?

There is no direct deposit, and it depends on the terminal some give you a bare minimum to no taining just throwing you on a forklift and other terminals will put you with a driver trainer and you will work with him for a few days. Mostly depends on if the terminal you are working out of, if it is short staffed you will be on your own.
