It is unfortunate that this accident took place but, this young man is just another victim of Con-Way's system of doing things. Yes, one could say it's personal responsibility to get enough rest before working linehaul but, how does one do so on the flex board calling in for work availability numerous times in a day and no set schedule? If you are a new employee be prepared to sink or swim! It could cost you your LIFE!
