Given the choice, I have alot more faith and trust in our drivers than any outside company..Mainly because our drivers, maybe more than anyone in our industry, understand the urgency and importance of the standards we set for ourselves and our customers, and that is invaluable..nobody can duplicate them...nobody...

It's not slow in the North,( Detroit area ) We have to run several city drivers every night to a close FAC to cover all our LH runs,the help wanted sign is back up,Drivers are not pounding the door down to get in,wonder why?

I'm out of the Pontiac barn,( XPN ) but yes XDE does run day linehaul to Canada,we are just plain busy,we have been averaging over 600,000 lbs outbound everynight,thats busy for us.

Two years ago, a sub-service carrier had a flat after leaving the Chicagoland area heading for Idaho. He didn't get it changed. Just kept driving. It set the trailer on fire in WY. I subro'd to them for $120,000.00 for the freight they destroyed over stupidity.
