It doesen't matter if it was Law enforcement doing their job, a flat tire, an accident, a brokedown vehicle in distress, a manic depressivel losing his mind on the Highway (which happend in S. Utah a few weeks ago, or a dead animal laying on the highway. This driver crashed into the back of another pickup truck and he and Conway are now out of at least 10 million in Liablilty. He screwed up this one time ( not to mention the 3 tickets he received) in the past few years. All it takes for us Tractor trailers is 1 accident to cost us our job and maybe a jail sentence, or DEATH....... Live and learn or choose another profession, Because we as truck drivers do not get the respect that we deserve for being safe, professional, and alert drivers.

Mr. S , our fellow Con-Way Freight truck driver , is a regular guy. He likes to smoke a lot. He tells bad jokes and he drinks a ton of coffee. The news articles are wrong when they report that he was hauling 32 or 34 or however many tons of steel. I hope NO other person has to live with what he is dealing with now. No disrespect to the family of five that died. May they rest in peace.

I wish Mr S well and my sympathies to the family. I personally would not know how to handle this

You edit my post but our driver's name is listed in almost every story written about this tragic wreck. First and LAST , along with his city of residence.

Could've happened to any of us. We go over blind hills everynight. How many of us slow down enough to be able to stop if there was a vehicle directly on the other side? It's a very, very tragic accident; but I see the point the cops had for not ticketing the CNW driver. The driver and the family will be in my prayers.
