Changes yea, no good changes for us. All of their changes so far have been nothing but bad news for us.

Could it be that maybe they are ramping up due to the pending closure of YRC? Their loan comes due Oct. 30th and that was a deadline extension.

our regional mgr was in a conference call/ metting almost all day the other day mmmmmmm wonder whats going on

also talked top a driver out of xml and he said they are bringing in a lot of equipment into thier barn but nobody is talking

my thoughts just from what i have heard

70 hr logs
lay down runs
7 day week operation
having owner/op to run line haul runs like fedex
You need to relax dude! 70 hour logs work well. They may do a few laydowns but they got away from that because of the money savings. Why would they start spending that kind of money again especially in this economy? Other than a few weekend runs, customers are closed on the weekends and there is not enough freight generated by a few weekend pickups to justify a full crew six days let alone seven. Usually the weekend runs are from freight left over from Friday night. With the two hour back off there are a lot of drivers that run short on hours and can't make runs hence, Saturday work. FedEx freight doesn't run owner operators. If anything, we will throw freight on Truckload and move it on down the highway.

I don't know if you are serious with this post or just trying to start something. If you are just trying to work people up, please don't. If you are serious, well, you need to sit back and think about what you are saying before you say it. JMO.

Things must be different out by you but I have never seen an owner/operator pulling our freight. Maybe one of the companies we use, contract out some owner/operators but I have never seen Conway put any on. Correct me if I am wrong.
