He says plenty. But I let it go in one ear and out the other. I actually had him come into the room with me, start fussing and I told him to JUST SHUT UP... when he was out of the room and in a low voice.
Yeah, I do manage a big ol' hairy back, knuckle draggin' grouchy wanna watch tv while at home and won't let go of the remote Conway driver. You caught me!
had a white shirt the other day say that next year there is going to be some big changes and the drivers were not going to like them
anybody have any kind of knowledge of these changes ?
our regional mgr was in a conference call/ metting almost all day the other day mmmmmmm wonder whats going on
also talked top a driver out of xml and he said they are bringing in a lot of equipment into thier barn but nobody is talking
my thoughts just from what i have heard
70 hr logs
lay down runs
7 day week operation
having owner/op to run line haul runs like fedex
they have all the rentals because they want to be prepared for the closing of yrc....that came straight from my tm....and yes the trucks are sitting by us to...I would welcome a 70 hr week....I had a monday thru friday job for 10 yrs and we ran 70....as far as lay downs i dont see that happening because we have cfi...and as far as owner ops what difference would that make???? hell what are they loading at xla 85 to 100 long boxes a night...trucker I wouldnt worry none...see its a secret that we know each other and we know that we both arent afraid of work or running the road!!!!!!!!!!

And also I had a job that I was off on wednesday and thursday....and I loved it....I went out more...never had to wait to get into a restaurant or a movie or anything....if there was wedding on a weekend I called in sick....and the best part if there is an event that you dont want to attend you can say I am sorry I cant make it because I have to work.and if you like to hunt or fish you are out there all by youreself....it really was a good deal...if you think about it saturday and sunday off ....no big deal
