There will be changes, changes are a part of life. We already run a 70hr log out here in the left and it's not bad. As far as laydowns are concerned I'm one of the guys that miss them and wish they would bring them back. As far as a 7day a week operation I don't think a whole lot of drivers would be opposed to the idea. At my barn there usually are weekend runs and there are enough volunteers that sign up for them. The owner op fleet could be good or bad. I know one driver over at fedex ground and he's making a decent chunk of change over there. I really dont' think it'll happen over here thoug.

I for one would not be surprised if we don't see more changes.

There is no extra equipment being brought into milwaukee except for ryder tractors. Get your rumors straight before you start spreading them

We already do 70 hours in californiacation. What did you expect to be a truck driver and work 40 hour weeks and make 80k a year doing that? I can see some guys appreciate meet and turn and laydowns if it means less or no dockwork.

But then again you can't please everybody...there will be those who complain.

We've got a mess of Ryder tractors and a growing number of rental trailers..and last night there were about 6 or seven different forlifts(rentals) just sitting on the dock. I, too got the impression something is going on. Also they just started about 5 or 6 new drivers in the past two weeks. I think all of the temp drivers are gone.
