I heard a rumor that XAU was sold. It really is not in a good location for the amount of work it does as a reship. The rumor I also heard that goes along with this that Con-way bought the Holland terminal in Joliet,Il to replace and close XAU .. can anyone confirm this?

Just a couple of questions since I am near the Aurora terminal. First off who would want to buy that terminal? Secondly since Holland is still using the Joliet terminal seems kind of pointless to buy it. Unless of course they are banking on the entire YRC group to go belly up. Just seems a bit odd

What about the FACT that Estes owns the Holland Terminal? Seems a little far fetched that they would sell it to Conway.

That is what I thought. I thought it was common knowledge that estes bought the joliet facility and was doing a lease back to them .. there are other rumors floating around bout la salle des plaines aurora and milwaukee ... I put it out to see if there were any facts behind it .. and I could not remember if Estes bought that facility or not ...

Oh Estes definately owns the Holland Term.in Joliet. Bought it in anticipation of a YRC collapse or a Holland sell off. They need to get out of that junk terminal in Summit. Actually they bought a bunch of Holland terminals all over the country. And yesterday they pulled 401 and some holidays and personal days from the employees.

That terminal in McCook is a pile of crap
